▼ Mass General Brigham Health Plan: Mass General Brigham Health Plan ends its Medicare Advantage PPOs; members must pick a new plan

Mass General Brigham Health Plan says its Medicare Advantage PPO plans will no longer be available starting in 2027. In their place it is offering two new HMO-POS plans alongside its existing Advantage Secure plan. PPO members must enroll in a new plan before Jan. 1, 2027, or they return to Original Medicare. Commercial and MassHealth members are not affected.

Your move

Contact every Mass General Brigham PPO client before Dec. 31. Compare the new HMO-POS plans, which have tighter networks, with other carriers and with Original Medicare plus a guaranteed-issue Medicare Supplement. A new HMO-POS enrollment is a new application, so confirm it pays commission before you write it.
