▼ Medica: Medica cancels its Medicare Advantage PPOs in Iowa and in eight Nebraska counties for 2027
Iowa's Senior Health Insurance Information Program lists four Medica Advantage PPOs as canceled statewide for 2027: Preferred (H8889-011), Select (H8889-015), Solution (H8889-009) and Value. KETV reports that Medica is ending Medicare Advantage in Douglas, Sarpy, Lancaster, Butler, Cass, Dodge, Saunders and Washington counties in Nebraska, affecting about 8,500 people. In the rest of Nebraska, members must re-enroll in Medica's new 2027 plans. Medica has not confirmed this on its own site.

Find your Medica PPO clients in Pottawattamie, Mills and Harrison counties, Iowa, and in the eight Nebraska counties, and place them by Dec. 31. In the rest of Nebraska, re-enroll Medica clients into the new 2027 plans. Each re-enrollment is a new application, so confirm that the new plan pays commission before you write it.
